The insert adopts an octagonal substrate with an 80° included corner angle. It delivers stronger tip strength and superior impact resistance to avoid chipping compared to CNMG 80° rhombic inserts, and boasts far greater rigidity than TNMG (60°) and VNMG (35°) inserts

Negative rake double-sided insert (reversible on both sides)

 

Cutting edges are available on both top and bottom surfaces, providing 8 usable cutting corners per insert. This maximizes insert utilization and drastically reduces consumable costs.
